Police Information

During the early morning hours of October 20, 2023, Sergeant Paulo Gomes observed a vehicle with multiple occupants traveling towards our town from Roseland. While he was following the vehicle it committed several motor vehicle violations and began to speed away. Roseland Police advised they were responding to an attempted motor vehicle theft in which this vehicle fit the description. After Sergeant Gomes was able to read the license plate it was determined the vehicle was a confirmed felony stolen motor vehicle. Sergeant Gomes attempted to stop the vehicle in which they did not comply. The vehicle left the area without incident.
