Tonight Mayor Davis, the Town Council and Chief Volker recognized two of our officers for their performance of life saving CPR. On September 18, 2021 at approximately 1004 hours Sergeant Scott Jones and Officer Kevin Brogan were dispatched to a man down in the area of 88 Devon Road. Upon arrival, the officers observed a male laying on his back unresponsive with no pulse. Officers immediately began CPR with use of the AED. Due to the officers’ training and experience they were able to get the male breathing with a pulse when the ambulance arrived. We are grateful to have been joined by the male patient and his family tonight. Thank you Sergeant Jones and Officer Brogan for a job well done and making Essex Fells proud.
